Angelina Jolie is slated to have some competition. Broadway, TV,
and Music star Kristin Chenoweth has been tapped to play the mother of the
villain from Sleeping Beauty.
The Disney Channel pic "Descendants" revolves around
the children of famous Disney villains. Chenoweth is going to co-star alongside
Dove Cameron, who plays teen girl Mal.
The extremely famous Kenny Ortega is directing the pic, which
will begin production later this month and will have a 2015 premiere.
Kristin Chenoweth is considered to be a Broadway regular, but
most recently has been seen in Glee. She'll also be performing at Carnegie Hall
on Saturday, May 3rd with a concert entitled "The Evolution Of A
Soprano"
